Yes, import the detail through the Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable modules, instead of through the G/L.

Would this work for the comma separated files I'm importing in the transaction import? Also could you provide a little more of a detailed description as to how I get to these functions in the A/R and A/P modules? Thanks!!

Yes, sometimes it needs a little tweaking, especially for the tax settings.  Sage 50 can email customer invoices with a .IMP attachment if they 'use Sage 50'.  It might help to email an invoice to yourself to get the format for Purchases.

Some of the quirks:

The version number is a minimum spec - it tells the Sage 50 Canadian client which format the data is in.  Use the oldest version number that is compatible with the import format you need  It'll probably work using 12001 or even 9001.
