Follow KB 10234 Steps. If the issue persists, this does not necessarily mean that the database is damaged. It only means that there are some invalid records in the historical tables and it is conflicting with the functionality of the Sage 50 CA program or your data. In order to print or e-file T4s or RL-1s in Sage 50, you must have a support plan than includes automatic payroll calculations. A payroll trial will not allow the customer to print or e-file T4s. 

Common issue is wrong paper type selection in Setup > Reports & Forms > Government Forms > T4. Under both T4 Slips Printer Settings and T4 Summary Printer Settings: Set Form Type  to Plain-Paper laser & inkjet form.

If there is a AP or AR inconsistency and you're using foreign currency, there could be one or more invoices / payments that did not apply currency rounding to indicate that it was a foreign currency transaction (this is a glitch).

 

Go to your Sage 50 maintenance menu > check Data Integrity. AR will have a * by it. This doesn't have to be fixed. You should still be able to create a new year.
