For those of you worried about whether you'll still be able to run Sage 50 CA version 2020.1 on Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2, note that Microsoft will end support for Windows 7 as of January 14, 2020.
"Any Sage 50 updates released after this date will not have been tested for compatibility with Windows 7 and you may need to update your operating system in order to continue using Sage 50 after this date." - @Dmaster
Stabilizing and optimizing Sage 50 data security on older platforms will no longer be possible for our teams, we won't have the coding, so we urge you to prepare to upgrade your systems.
When Microsoft ends their support for an operating system, that operating system will also no longer be supported by Sage 50 CA 's development and support teams. Troubleshooting resources will be limited for older systems. This means new solution creation won't be possible.
