What's Sage Foundation?

In addition to providing donated software licenses to eligible organizations, Sage Foundation is constantly innovating on the best ways to spread good throughout communities.

Signing Up

Sage's partnership with Techsoup Global still reviews donation requests. So register today if you are a registered Charity or non-profit.

*NOTE: In Canada, these organizations must be registered with Industry Canada or a province or territory.

What's available

If you are already signed up with Techsoup Canada, you may have noticed the message that
"The Sage Software Donation program has been suspended. It is not likely to become available again, and we do not have a timeline for any further updates."

A perpetual license of Sage 50 is still offered at 50% off to registered Charities or Non-Profits (who can provide their registration number) by contacting Sage 50 sales directly at 1-800-261-9610.

FireOctober 2020 update: The Techsoup offering and 50% discount on the perpetual license was discontinued at the end of FY19 (September 2019).

New Offerings

We have a few newer options coming down the pipeline with Sage Foundation providing donated software. Complete the eligibility form to find out if you quality for Sage Foundation donated licenses

Start-ups and small organization with between 1 to 15 employees can apply for access to Sage One. Sage Live is one of our newest products and is fully on the cloud for the benefit of small and medium organizations with between 10 to 200 employees.
*No word yet on whether Sage Live will have full payroll features though unlike Sage 50.

Finally, Sage X3 is our most powerful offering extremely well positioned for process manufacturers (chemical or food manufacturing, etc.). Very exciting to see this software product eligible amongst the software donations!
