How do I save PDF's of employee T4's in the correct CRA form format?

I have the Sage 50 version that allows for electronic (xml file) remittance. Now how would I save the individual employee T4's in a PDF form that I can email to them? When I choose to print the T4's, it doesn't include the cra T4 form format. Thank you.

    Hi, Christine.

    First comment - check that you are complying with the laws regarding emailing T4's.  Look at the 'giving your employees their T4 slips' section in part 4 of the latest RC4120 on Canada Revenue Agency's website.

    Second comment - regardless of how you actually filed the T4 slips (.xml or paper), you can still use the 'print employee T4's' menu option on the paper-file screen to create employee copies.  If you set your forms to 'plain paper', all of CRA's form background will be added for you.  Unfortunately, if you set your 'printer' to .pdf, you'll get one giant pdf file with all of the employees in it.  The easiest way around this that I've found is to print to actual physical paper, and then use a scanner that can create multiple files from one scan job (eg one file for every 2 pages) to split the pile of T4's into individual email-able pdf's.
