Having some trouble with ROE forms

I'm looking to print an ROE for a single employee. However, I seem to be unable to select the employee from the list of terminated employees for the years I want.

In a nutshell, the employee's first pay was received on September 1st, 2021. However, they were not terminated until January 20th, 2023. The session start date is set as August 1st of 2021 which is also the fiscal year start.

I'm not sure if I am going about this properly, but I basically need to calculate all income starting from the first pay day.

I'm also curious if there is a way to get a digital copy of this ROE instead of printing, as the employee did not work in this province and it would be preferable to email the data.

Any information or help is appreciated.

    Hi, Cordell,

    Regarding the actual ROE.... there are 2 things that may be happening.

    First option.  Assuming that the person kept working fairly continuously up until January 20, 2023.  In this case, you just have to do an ROE as at January 20, 2023.  The only info from 2021 on the ROE will be the first day paid.... the rest of the information will be based on their work history in the 13 months leading up to January 20, 2023.

    Second option.  Assuming the person stopped working in 2022 or prior, but just didn't ask you for an ROE until now.  In this case, you have a problem, as Sage only keeps 2 years of payroll history in the active file.  You'll need to find a backup file from closer to the date they stopped working, and restore it to a TEMPORARY location, to produce an ROE.

    Regarding an electronic ROE... Service Canada doesn't accept electronic (or even photocopied or faxed) ROE's unless they are produced using ROE WEB.  Sage does have the ability to send info to ROE WEB.  However, signing up to use ROE WEB can take a while because  Service Canada has an authentication process that you have to go through.  If this person is in a hurry for their ROE, then producing a paper copy and physically mailing it may be faster.  For info on ROE WEB, see Access Record of Employment on the Web (ROE Web) - Canada.ca

    I'm going the route of issuing a paper copy of an ROE.  Is there a report that I can run from Sage that gives me all the data to complete the paper copy?
