Sage 50 Premium accounting 2022- Project

Hi,

I created few projects in sage. When Invoicing and entering payment I pick relevant project. But in project module Income and expenses are not updating. 

Kindly support me.

    Thanks for reaching out. Did you ever find an answer for this issue? Have you looked at the income detail report for the project ? Or the allocation report? Be sure to have correct start / finish dates selected.



    Here below are some details on: 

    Line item amounts in a transaction (including General Journal entries and Inventory adjustments)

    1. In the transaction window, select a line item and click Project .
    2. (Optional) Select Apply this allocation to entire transaction. This option allocates all the amounts in the transaction by the same percentage, regardless of your allocation setting.
    3. Select a blank line in the Project column and press Enter to open the Project list.
    4. Select a project from the list and click Select.
    5. Type the dollar amount or percentage (depending on your settings) to allocate to that project.
    6. If you are allocating this transaction to more than one project, repeat steps 3-5 as necessary.
    7. Click OK to return to the transaction window.

    Note: If each line item is allocated to a different project, By Line is indicated in the Project List menu. If you allocate a line item to a project and then select a project from the Project List menu, the line item allocation is removed. (Sage 50 Quantum Accounting)

    To Change the Way Amounts are Allocated to Projects:

    1. In the Home window, on the Setup menu, choose Settings.
    2. On the left side of the window, select Projects and then Allocation.
    3. In the Allocate Other Transactions by section, select the method that you will use to enter the allocations:
      • Amount. Project(s) will be allocated by entering dollar amounts.
      • Percent. Project(s) will be allocated by entering percentages of the total dollar amounts.
    4. Click OK.
