So here is an odd issue that I have been trying to solve and was wondering if anyone has any ideas

This is on a Windows Server 2019 with all the latest windows updates and Sage 50 2023.1 Accountant Edition and same update for Connection Manager

Connection Manager will randomly stop working, it seems to be once a week, all about the same time.Meaning when the clients try to open a company file it gives the cannot communicate with the connection manager

on the server the only thing that seems to show up is this error in event viewer

Application popup: mysqld.exe - Application Error : mysqld.exe The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142). Click OK to close the application.

About the only fix I can find currently is I have to do a full reboot of the server.

I have tried all the normal troubleshooting steps

uninstall and reinstalled the connection manager

uninstall and reinstalled the connection manager and made sure all msql are removed

Restart Connection Manager from the Taskbar Icon

Restart Connection Manager from the Services control panel

File share is accessible

happens with both the company file and sample company file.

copy it to local machine and opens fine
