When I open the Sage in single-user mode, or when i switch to single-user mode from multi-user mode, it shows "Downloading Payment...", then Sage crashes.
We have the same problem, been on the phone with them last Wednesday 2 times. They are aware of it and working on a resolution. I called them back last Friday, still working on a fix. Now we wait
Same here. Since last Thursday (23rd). I call everyday so they can see there's some emergency but they don't seem to care. This software looks like it's holding like a house of cards. Crazy.
Thank you Brad for sharing this information.
Hi all,
Thank you for reaching out and apologies for this ongoing issue. The Sage 50 Canada team has updated this article titled "Sage 50 crashes without error when opening a file that has pending Invoice Payments in single user mode" with new details.
I'm told that the workaround is still the only option. We'll share any news on a fix as soon as it's available. Thank you for your ongoing patience.
Warm Regards,
Erzsi

Workarounds:
Once i disconnect from the internet, i can no longer access sage login at all
Thank you. I disconnected the internet, then I was able to log in to single-user mode and uncheck the box for Automatically download payments. This step temporary solves the login issue. However, I can't send out the invoices with the PayPal link for now. For the online invoice payment service, I will wait until this issue is solve.
That's the solution I gave to Support, they didn't know about it when I told them a week ago...
That function is the only reason why I updated to 2023 (from 2021). I wouldn't have updated it if only I knew all the trouble I have with them.
As of this morning we have resolved the issue with the payments that would not download. If you had previously turned off the automatic download, you should be able to turn it back on. We do advise closing completely out of Sage 50 and rebooting your computer before trying to download payments.
Thank you!!! Have a wonderful weekend!! :-)
Thank you!
