Hi Natasha thank you for reaching out to us with your feedback and suggestion. Many of our servers for services such as the Sage account or RDA are shared globally. When looking for hours to schedule maintenance we run reporting to determine the least disruptive time of day to schedule the maintenance required based on usage.

With the upcoming two windows of scheduled maintenance next month, if you Pause sharing of your company, one user would be able to continue working in Sage 50 entering transactions. At the end of the maintenance window when you Resume sharing all information would be sync'd back to all users. In order for this to work you would need to Pause sharing, enter transactions, and Resume sharing all on the same computer.

Great question! The sysadmin account will need to pause and resume sharing.
