What's new in Sage 50 CA version 2022.3?

Your summer update for Sage 50 CA is here!  As of June 20th, 2022, look for a notification when shutting down your software about the available update. We recommend that you agree to install the update at that time. For instructions on how to download and install your product update, please refer to this article and review our Product and Tax updates tips.

If you already have the Sage 50 CA version 2022 open, Warning️ make a backup of your company data file and then visit Help > Check for Product Updates.

Version 2022.3 has a few more changes than the last update, including the Payroll tax updates for July 1, 2022.

Warning️ Important! If you have a support plan that includes payroll tax updates, your Product Update includes the payroll tax changes for July 1, 2022. For complete details on the CRA income tax changes, contact your local tax services office or visit the CRA web site.

Changes to provincial or territorial taxes

In March 2022, New Brunswick increased the basic personal amount to $11,720 effective January 1, 2022.

  • Note: For the remainder of the year, as of the first payroll run in July, a prorated basic personal amount of $12,623 will apply
