STP Update - myGov showing 2020-21

I processed STP Update for financial year ending 30/06/2020 for my employer today and when I’ve checked my personal myGov account the final pay update is showing as 2020-21 with a period 01/07/2020 to 30/06/2020.  The 2019-20 year is showing as not tax ready and is only reporting to 23/06/2020 (prior pay period).  
When I did the STP Update the financial year 2020 was selected. Where have I gone wrong? And how can I fix this?

  • Good Morning If you have not contacted the support team already please do so as they will need to work through your issue with you.  It appears the issue may be one of two issues. 

    1. When you were completing your 2019-2020 financial year it could be that in the Payroll>General>General Parameters under the Tax Year tab that you were completing the year showing as 2020-2021 (before change tax year for 2020-2021 has been completed).  Please check in here to see what it currently says if you have not done Change Tax Year then it may say 2020-2021 which would process all the values in the incorrect tax year.

    OR

    2. Have you already done the final pay STP Update for the 2019-2020 financial year and change tax year and then completed the 1st pay in the new financial year 2020-2021 before change tax year with a pay end date of the 1st July (or later) and processed an eft transfer date of 30/06/2020 or earlier?  If so you may need to complete the final pay update for 2020 again as this process may have been overwritten with the next financial years pay run.
